My coaching, facilitation and teaching philosophy, style
and skill draws extensively from my professional experience as an oncology
nurse, a manager, a counselor, a management/leadership development consultant,
a corporate leadership and communication coach and, most recently, as an independent
consultant, yoga teacher and yoga therapy practitioner.
My industry experience
includes 20 years in healthcare, much of that time with Presbyterian St. Luke’s
Medical Center, and 11 years in finance/mutual funds with Janus Capital Group.
Both are located in Denver, Colorado. I held several different positions at
each of those companies during those time periods.
My traditional education
includes a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley College in
Cambridge, Massachusetts, an Oncology Nurse Practitioner certificate from the
University of Alabama-Birmingham and an undergraduate degree in Nursing from
Southern Colorado State College in Pueblo, Colorado (now Colorado State University
– Pueblo). I also have participated in a wide number and variety of certificate
programs and courses throughout my career. Here is a brief list of those I
consider significant and relevant to my current work. A more in-depth list
appears within the specific topical areas – Awareness Practices, Conscious
Conversations, Meaningful Transitions.

I founded Another Possibility in 2004 with the intent of integrating and synthesizing my personal and professional experiences to create unique ways to offer my expertise in service to others.
In addition to my work with Another Possibility, I currently volunteer with two local non-profit organizations, Namaste Comfort Care, which provides hospice services, and Project Angel Heart, which prepares and delivers meals to people with life-threatening illnesses. I also volunteer at the Boulder County Jail teaching yoga to female inmates.
